This cover of the Warren Zevon (a total wizard) song is featured in a television show both Jason and myself are co-writing, and acting in called Famous Canadian Actors. Cinco de Gatos is recording the soundtrack.

Written and thought up by my bestest and oldest friend Jason Dummeldinger. I met Jason in the autumn of 1989 when I put up a flyer in the College of DuPage quad advertising a “punk vocalist” (that is me) looking for a band that sounds like Husker Du, Bad Religion, Descendents, ALL and Minor Threat, Jason called my house and we met and started a band called Happy Type in 1990. We then did Cinco de Gatos in 1994-1995 and recorded at Steve Albini’s house, played with a bunch of bands and had mad adventure. This is a project I am so happy to be a part of and performing in. In case you’re wondering what “Famous Canadian Actors” is all about, here’s your chance to witness first hand what we’re cooking up. We’re presenting a live table read of the first two episodes for you, our special audience. This will be your chance to get a sneak peek of our extremely talented cast acting out the pretty weird story of “Famous Canadian Actors” from the comfort of your own home. We’ll also open up to Q&A from the audience to the cast and crew after the reading.
Also, it’s free admission! We will have a virtual tip jar if you are inclined to help us build production funds. if you are interested in investing in the production on a larger scale, we will have our coordinator on hand to assist you.
